refuse to see
      the blood
      on the sand

pursued into
      old age
      exhaustion

the moon wide
      quiet clouds
      with willows

snatched breath
      and a view
      of the stars

A speaking red

     things share in fury

          became an observant

untrue stars,

     itself convenient,

          the felt unbearable,

a broken maximum

light betrays. Pretty flesh green.

Intricate muscle

could give silence,

     force of a long time, denying consciousness,

          daylight through walls,

               an utterance,

a knowledge

intent in neatness.

     Nuisances whisper of bone.

Seriousness.

     Imagination.

          Human throughout.

A tongue flames in satisfaction, thrilled, full of names
